Why hit the ball better when the ball away and slopes is below my feet? Help my swing!?
I just started playing golf and now I just hit foam balls up and down my backyard. I use an old game if Ping Eye 2 irons are standard length and lie and all that. I realized when the ball is on a slope that runs away from my feet so that the ball is a little below my feet always hit the ball much better. My question is why Why? What does my swing to do when the ball is outstanding distance not to do on flat ground. Am I 2 near the ball on flat ground? "I need 2 lump in the throat of the clubs? Move the ball in my position? Lead arm forward more? Hip Turn my future? etc etc. I feel like there is something I am obliged to do when the dance floors away, but im not when its on flat ground to do and that is why I did not hit so good. I know this may be a difficult question to answer like 2 cu my swings cannot but any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I think you have your solution in detail. I think the problem is the length of your club. It plays better on the steep, because you have to grab the end of the club. So when you close the throat of golf at the club, or you can go to your pro shop in the area and make fit your plates for you and they tear them down and regrip. Only cost you about $ 10 per club. And the price of installation. It will improve your game and I guarantee you will fall at least 5 strokes from your game. Good Luck
