If I leave my clubs regrip, how do I know what size …?
I am of the rocking some old school Ping Zing irons which I am full of love. Rigid steel, and heavy. The Golf Pride Tour Wraps are becoming a bit old, though, begins to crack. How do I know whether to purchase (not eBay, of course) the .58 or .60 size grips? I can not find any markings on the shaft or grips today. Thank you. BTW, of course you could ask a professional. But if I could save the trip in the rain and give 10 points … Why not? Thanks again my friends. PS A guy I work with swears by Griptec but apparently only BC likes to not have to use any solvent or tape. Any reviews?
@ Preview you're looking to do something you can not handle and you can look at Golfsmith to supply a grip kit that includes everything needed for installation. And.600 The 580 refers to the size of the butt of your club and your pings require a 600 grip size. If you use a small or medium size glove to go without the construction of the grip. May consider a large Middle layer of tape. Large size to go with a layer of tape for insurance and if X-large is your size you will want 2 layers of tape. The layers of adhesive tape add to the grip tape you use. Do not be tempted to build up your shakes too, because trade feel free to simply not worth it. I have been using Golfsmith version of the chord and found to be equal to any of the clutches of others out there. Good luck with your project and I hope this helps.
